JOB SUMMARY
WEI is a culture of talented team members that design creative, functional and inspiring environments for Senior Living. WEI is seeking a Project Designer for our Nashville office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Manage and compile documentation for assigned projects through all design phases, both personal and with team members.

Manage assigned client accounts.

Lead and assist design and technical deliverables for all project phases.
-
Flexibility to focus on client accounts with a variety of building types and multiple, simultaneous projects in various stages of development.

Collaborate and assist design leaders with quality control and implementation of best practices of methods and procedures throughout all design phases.

Communicate and execute projects with external trade consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.

Stay current on product research, technology and trends in the Hospitality, Senior Living and Alzheimer’s sectors.

Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate design ideas and direction quickly.

Prepare and participate in client presentations.

Participate in design examination, innovation and collaboration on each project.

Identify opportunities to provide relative and sustainable design approaches.

Influence and mentor associate design team members.
-
Be an integral part in the growth and success of the workplace.

Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.

Provide conceptual thinking and problem solving to develop design concepts and project narratives.

Work efficiently and adhere to project deadlines and schedules.

Represent the company with professionalism.

P Maintain confidentiality of pertinent interior design and architectural product innovations.

Assist with marketing materials for project presentations and proposals, if time permits with current project deadlines.

Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills.

Conduct on-site observations, capturing existing conditions and providing recommendations for project execution that is both innovative and budget conscious.

Some travel required.
REQUIREMENTS
-
Licensed NCIDQ Certified Designer
-
Bachelor’s degree, in Interior Design [CIDA accredited program]
-
Exceptional graphic presentation skills
-
Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites
-
3D Studio Max, an asset
-
LEED accreditation, an asset
-
7+ years’ Interior Design experience
-
Relevant Senior Living experience, an asset
